What’s special about us?

This groups is run by the parents and grandparents.  We are a friendly group of mums, dads, grandparents and carers.

We start of with play time, with a wide variety of toys, books and crafts to do, which we then tidy away and have snacks, all sat together just like being at big school.

Then it is sing along time and we all sit together and sing our favourite songs.

There is tea and coffee provided for the ‘grown ups’ in non spill cups and plenty of time to sit, have a chat and watch your little ones play.

rhythm time logoCome and join Sarah for a fun musical taster session. Our multisensory baby sessions use a variety of musical activities to help develiop babies’ vision, balnace, inner ear, speech, language and small motor movements. We do this using exciting songs, music, percussion instruments and lots of colourful equipment including puppets, scarves, mirrors lights and bubbles. It’s a lovely way to bond with baby, meet new friends and banish any baby blues.
Our toddler sessions help children to develop creativity, co-ordination and concentration whilst having lots of musical fun! Again we use a wide range of equipment including percussion instruments, balls, hoops and our lovely puppet Rat-a-tat who helps the children to focus their listening. Their language and vocal skills are developed by singing unaccompanied and each toddler who joins at the start of term receives a fabulous CD to accompany the class.

Zumba Fitness® was created in the mid-90s by Colombian native Alberto “Beto” Perez, a celebrity fitness trainer and choreographer for International pop superstars. Inspired by the traditional cumbia, salsa, samba and merengue music he grew up with, Beto paired his favourite pulsating Latin rhythms with the red-hot international dance steps his clients loved and Zumba Fitness® (Spanish slang for “to move fast and have fun”) was born!

Come and join the 10 million people taking part in Zumba classes from 90,000 locations in 110 countries today!
